£17 Million Jackpot on Offer in Tomorrow’s EuroMillions Draw
Last Updated: Wednesday 14th May 2014, 13:27
While there were more than 2.3 million winners in the draw, nobody matched all seven numbers drawn so the £12 million jackpot on offer rolled over and increased in value.
The biggest winners on the night came from Portugal and Belgium with the pair both winning a second place prize of €735,283.20 (£608,396) when they matched all five main numbers but just one Lucky Star. In the following tier, four players matched the five main numbers drawn and secured a prize worth €122,547.20 (£101,395) each.
A further 2,357,956 players won prizes worth between £2.50 (€3.60) for matching just two main numbers and £3,283.80 (€4,805.70) for matching four main numbers and both Lucky Stars. To view a full prize breakdown of Friday’s EuroMillions draw, visit the EuroMillions Results page.
UK players were surprisingly unsuccessful in Friday night’s draw and failed to rank in any of the top three tiers. This is just the second time so far in 2014 that British players have fallen outside of the top three tiers with the first time happening on Tuesday 11th February.
In addition to the EuroMillions jackpot eluding players, Saturday’s UK Lotto jackpot also rolled over and increased to the value of £5.9 million. With two rollover jackpots on offer this week, will British players see a change in luck and scoop one of the top tier prizes?
