National Lottery

National Lottery games across the world are for the purpose of raising funds for good causes and to support community, arts, sports and heritage projects. In some games the purpose of the Lottery is for a singular cause, for example funding schools or supporting a sports event. In other national lottery games, the money raised is put into a communal pot; individuals and organizations can then apply for a proportion of the available money to fund projects for good causes. All games definitely have the eyes on the prize, but the Lotto games are more altruistic than other gambling games. The purpose is to contribute to a good cause and understand that as an incentive to take part, there is a minority of participants that win big bucks.
